ESOL

Our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) team supports adults with little or no English to develop the language skills they need to participate confidently in everyday life.

We offer free classes to East Ayrshire residents who need support which are delivered across four progressive levels:

• Preparation for Literacy
• Introduction to Beginners Literacies 1
• Introduction to Beginners Literacies 2
• National 2 – ESOL for Everyday Life

English Language Support for Children & Young People (2-18yrs)

Our ESOL learning environment is inclusive, supportive and focused on building each learner’s confidence, independence and communication skills.

The English as an Additional Language  team provides dedicated support for children and young people who:

• know little or no English
• have limited English
• appear fluent but are not yet achieving their full potential

Our aim is to help every learner thrive in school, build confidence and fully engage in their education.
