Libraries
Our libraries are about more than just books. They are community spaces to bring people together and host a range of social activities - book groups, art groups, knitting groups, workshops and much more. They are a place for education and life long learning with digital access, skills training and areas to work or study.
Our libraries also host author events and a range of holiday activities for children and families.
Step inside our libraries and unlock new stories, discover fresh authors, and take part in events and activities for all ages. Whether it's to study, work, learn or explore, you'll find welcoming spaces that make every visit enjoyable.
Joining the library is really simple – all you need to do is bring two forms of identification containing your details to any of our community libraries or mobile library. (one form of ID must contain your name and address, and the other your signature. Alternatively, a photographic driving licence is acceptable)
