Bringing Books To You
Our library service is here to support everyone in our community, wherever they are. Alongside our network of local libraries, we operate a Mobile Library, bringing books, resources and friendly staff directly to communities across the region. For residents who are housebound or unable to visit a library in person, our Homewords Service offers free doorstep delivery of books and other library materials, ensuring you can continue to enjoy reading from the comfort of your home.
The Mobile Library
Our mobile library service operates a 4-weekly timetable covering both north and south mobile routes.
Homewords
Our free Homewords service is available to residents of East Ayrshire who are unable to visit a community or mobile library owing to age, disability or long term illness which normally confines them to their home. Users of this service will have access to a range of reading material including fiction, non-fiction, large print and audio books.
