Youth Work
Welcome to our Youth Work community, where young people are at the heart of everything we do. We provide a safe, inclusive and supportive space for young people to connect, grow, and have fun while building confidence and essential life skills. Through a wide range of activities, from creative arts and sports to workshops, mentoring and group sessions, we aim to inspire young people to discover their strengths and reach their potential
Mentoring
Mentoring in youth work plays a vital role in supporting young people as they grow, learn and navigate challenges in their lives. Our mentors support young people in schools and the community, they provide guidance, encouragement and positive activities for young people to engage in.
Lifeskills
Life Hacks is a youth project made for teens, all about learning real-life skills you actually need but don’t get taught! Try new things, learn from each other and feel confident and independent to take on life one smart move at a time.
Youth Voice & Participation
In East Ayrshire, youth voice and participation is built into local services and programmes. The aim is to empower young people to be involved in community life and decision-making. East Ayrshire’s Children and Young People Cabinet is a group of young people who represent the voices of others, meeting council leaders and help influence decisions that affect young people. The Youth Cabinet share views, campaign for things they believe in and celebrate the achievements young people.

Awards & Accreditation
Youth Awards and accreditation give young people the change to gain recognised achievements while taking part in fun meaningful activities. Through our youth programmes, participants can build important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and problem-solving all while working towards awards that can support their future education, training or employment.
If you're involved in voluntary work, contact us to find out how it could count toward an award.
Equalities
Equality-based youth work creates safe, inclusive spaces where every young person is valued and supported, regardless of their identity or background. It actively promotes fairness by recognising and addressing barriers, crating opportunities and breaking down stereotypes. Through open dialogue, education and inclusive practices, we empower young people to express themselves confidently, build mutual respect and encourage a community where differences are not only accepted but celebrated.
