Calling all Time Travellers, explore our cultural venues in our free, fun family-friendly self-led trails…Time Travel IS possible…!  Visit our brilliant cultural venues to take part – Baird Institute, Burns House Museum and Dick Institute.

As you travel through the buildings, visit different times in history…the trails will lead you on a whirlwind tour to track down famous local figures and creatures from our past which have helped shape our incredible Ayrshire history and present as we know it today!

BUT … Bursting out with a fabulous new twist - this time round you can unravel stories with our new characters who have popped up to say hello!! Let them spin you a good yarn about life in the past in and around Ayrshire.

These new woolly wee wonders are knitting their wee brows together wondering...Wool you find them all?!

The knitted characters are the result of an imaginative community project bringing together textile volunteers showcasing a display of their incredible artistry and skills.
