Ayrshire360 operates three swimming pools across East Ayrshire, offering everything from family fun to structured lessons and club‑level training.
The Galleon has a 25m, 6 lane main pool with a depth of 0.9m-1.8m as well as a learner pool with a depth of 0.6m - 0.9m
Loudoun Leisure Centre offers a 20m, 4‑lane pool with a depth of 0.9m - 3m
Doon Valley Leisure Centre houses a 25m, 4 lane pool with a depth of 0.9m - 1.8m
Recreational Swimming
Relax, unwind and enjoy a casual swim. Available daily outside programmed or booked sessions.

Family Swims
Bring the whole family for a fun, relaxed dip.
Bookings allow 2 adults and up to 5 children (age‑dependent). Please see our Admission Policy for full details.
ASN Swims
Dedicated, bookable sessions designed to support individuals and families with Additional Support Needs.
Laned Sessions
Ideal for fitness swimmers where you can choose your pace — slow, medium or fast.
All lane sessions are bookable.
Learn to Swim
Our Learn to Swim programme is delivered in partnership with Scottish Swimming, using their trusted national framework.
At The Galleon
25‑minute lessons (6–8 participants), available 7 days a week across multiple levels:
- Aqua Fun (non-swimmers/beginners, age‑grouped)
- Aqua Fun Plus
- Swim Skills 1, 2, 3 & 4
40‑minute lessons:
- Club Ready – building stamina and technique for those preparing to progress into club swimming
- Swim for Life – instructor‑led fitness swimming (up to age 18)
- Rookie Lifeguard (Bronze, Silver, Gold) – ages 8–12 & 12–16; part of the RLSS pathway, supporting progression towards NPLQ certification
1‑hour sessions:
- Masters – delivered with Kilmarnock Amateur Swimming Club
For adults 18+, with the option to compete.
Requires Scottish Swimming & KASC membership.
At Loudoun & Doon Valley
30‑minute lessons (6–8 participants), with multiple levels available:
- Swim Skills 1a
- Swim Skills 1b
- Swim Skills 2, 3 & 4
Lesson Days:
- Loudoun: Tuesday & Saturday
- Doon Valley: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

Aqua Fitness Classes
Aquatrim
A low intensity Aerobics class based the water to help reduce the stress and impact on joints. Class set to music.
Aqua Combat
A low intensity class with boxing and aerobics, set to music, based in the water to reduce the stress and impact on joints.

SSTQ – Swimming Teacher Qualification
Industry‑standard qualification for independent swimming teachers. Practical, skills‑based training.
Becoming a Swimming Teacher | Scottish Swimming
SSCQ – Coaching Qualification
SCQF Level 7 qualification for swimming and diving coaches working in club and competitive environments.
NPLQ – National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
Covers pool rescue skills, first aid, CPR and lifeguarding theory. Includes timed swims, deep‑water retrieval and casualty handling.

NRASTC & NRASTC (Light)
Supervision and rescue awards for teachers/coaches working in programmed aquatic sessions where pool depth exceeds standing depth.
