Talented Athlete Support Programme
We are committed to helping today’s promising athletes become tomorrow’s sporting heroes.
As part of our commitment to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games legacy, Ayrshire360 alongside the Sports Council, offer dedicated support to athletes living in East Ayrshire, helping them achieve their full potential in their chosen sport.
We recognise the dedication, hard work and significant personal investment required to compete at national and international level. The Talented Athlete Support Programme has been created to acknowledge these efforts and provide meaningful assistance.
Athletes who are successful in their application will also be invited to attend the Annual East Ayrshire Sports Council and Talented Athlete Awards Evening held every November.

Eligibility Criteria & Support
Applicants must participate in a sport recognised by SportScotland and meet at least one of the following:
- British senior internationalist – representing Great Britain at a recognised international event
- British senior medallist at the sport’s official British Championships
- British junior internationalist – representing Great Britain at junior level at a recognised international event
- British junior medallist at the sport’s official British Championships
- Scottish senior internationalist – representing Scotland at a recognised senior international event
- Scottish junior internationalist – representing Scotland at a recognised junior international event
- Age group internationalist – representing Scotland or Great Britain at European or World Masters Championships
- Scottish Champion (Senior or Junior) at the sport’s recognised Scottish Championships
- Full member of a Scottish national squad at Junior or Senior level
Support Offered
Successful applicants will receive an East Ayrshire Talented Athlete Card, providing 12 months complimentary membership to their nearest Ayrshire360 facility which includes the Galleon Leisure Centre, Kilmarnock and also Visions Leisure Centre, Cumnock
