Skating Lessons
Ready to learn? Our skating lessons are delivered by the Galleon Ice Dance & Figure Skating Club (GIDFSC) and are perfect for children aged 5 and over. Friendly coaches will help young skaters build confidence, skills and a love for the ice.
Figure Skating
The G.I.D.F.S.C welcomes skaters of all levels — from complete beginners (Grade 1) to advanced skaters (Level 1+). Whether you're learning the basics or refining your technique, you’ll find expert guidance and a supportive community here.
Ice Hockey
Kilmarnock Junior Ice Hockey Club (KJIHC) provides children and young people with the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop new skills through one of the UK’s fastest‑growing and most exciting sports. Based at the Galleon, the club offers a full pathway from Learn to Play sessions right through to competitive hockey with our SNL team. With guidance from experienced coaches and dedicated volunteers, players are supported at every stage of their development.If your child has never skated before, there’s no need to worry. The Club run skating lessons designed specifically for absolute beginners, helping them feel confident on the ice before progressing to hockey sessions. Be part of a friendly, inclusive club where young players can make friends, build confidence and shares a passion for the sport.

Recreational Skating
Looking for a fun day out? We welcome individual skaters, families, schools, ASN groups, and group bookings. It’s the perfect way to stay active and enjoy time together.
