Stewarton Area Centre
Located in the heart of the town, Stewarton Area Centre is a vibrant multi‑purpose community venue that houses the local library and hosts an exciting programme of theatre performances, live shows and performing arts. With comedy, drama, family events and children’s shows, there’s something for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
The Centre is also available for private hire, making it an ideal space for children’s parties, fitness and dance classes, art workshops, dog training sessions, meetings and a wide range of community events. Alongside the town’s local library, the building includes a fully equipped kitchen that can be used as a catering or bar area. Ayrshire360 also offers hospitality and bar services which can be tailored to any event.

The venue is also home to The Book Nook – Scotland’s Independent Bookshop of the Year 2024 and 2025. This Book Nook offers a warm, welcoming space to browse, chat about books and discover your next great read. You’ll find an impressive selection of children’s books, teen and young adult titles and adult fiction and non‑fiction. Throughout the year, Tit also hosts an inspiring programme of author events, talks and book‑related activities, making it a must‑visit destination for readers.
